Checklist when choosing a Gate Company in Johannesburg

When choosing gate motor suppliers ask the following questions:

• Are the gate suppliers recognized industry leaders in electric driveway security gates, electric gate automation, garage gate motors, new remote access security management, repairs and maintenance?

• How many years have they been in the business?

• Do they have full time customer service support staff?

• How many teams do they have?

• Do they keep a large range of spares to carry them through holiday periods, including gate remotes?

• Do they offer a true 24 hour service and operate over holidays?

• Do they answer land line numbers or only cell numbers? If they only have cell numbers it probably means that they do not have an office and are operating from a truck.

• Many companies will answer yes to these questions, but do they really have the resources and the ability to stand by their promise.

The true test of a good automation company is not only that the installation is done well, but that, in the event of a problem, the repair is dealt with swiftly and efficiently.
