The wireless battery-operated (up to 3 years) transmitter makes it so easy to install so no unnecessary trenching for cabling is needed and no parallel mounting surface is required. When the battery does go flat, you will hear an audible siren informing you. You can mechanically adjust the beam to the tilt you want to make the safety beam as optimal as possible.

The beam has a 6m operating mode in its standard mode and a 12 m operating mode in its boost mode.
